Books on the Horizon!

Things have been pretty hectic over the last few weeks. I am in the process of writing two novel series, both being collaborative projects with two awesome authors. The first one – ‘The Celestial One’ will be book one in the Demon Series. Jan and I have been working our butts off to create character sheets and finalise the outline, so we can begin. The horizon is looking pretty great for this awesome tale. I will be taking a crack at the first chapter, so wish me luck! In the coming weeks I will hopefully have news on how the project is progressing. I can’t wait to share it with you.
Book two is with Melissa, an awesome author (absolutely fell in love with her romance/crime/thriller "Hands of Evil"). We haven't brain stormed on the title of this novel series yet. When we do – you’ll be the first to know! In the meantime, the working title is ‘The Gargoyle Princess’. We’ve been as busy as bees in a writing hive working on the back story – plugging those holes and creating a cast of exciting characters. We are still working out a few kinks, but I will be able to tell you more about the series shortly. I’ll need extra luck, since I’ve agreed to take the first chapter for this project too.
Both projects feel like an exciting adventure. ‘The Celestial One’ features demons, angels, and witches, where ‘The Gargoyle Princess’ features sorcerers and gargoyles (if the title didn't give it away...*giggles*), in a tale of two powerful worlds on the brink of war.
And as if these weren’t exciting enough, I’m also working on a few solo projects; two different romance series. The first is about vampires (shocking isn't it). I fell in love with Cheri Schmidt's Fateful Series and decided to take a crack at writing my own vampire romance. It won't be a typical romance, or vampire story, because I’ll add my own twist. I haven't read many novels in this genre through the eyes of a female vampire, so I will be taking this approach for the novel. I am still working out the outlines, character developments and back story, but stay tuned for further news.
My second solo project is a romantic thriller, which is currently untitled. I’m not sure if this will be a series or a stand-alone novel, at the moment it’s all still a work in progress. There are several differences in terms of my other projects, and though it will still hold a flair of fantasy, I plan to focus more on the action, emotion, and romance for this one.
Here’s a little more information to whet your appetite!

When she finds herself in a relationship with Dean Caldwell, she soon realises that behind his sweet nature lies a darker, more sinister side. Dean will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Her fears emerge with painstaking clarity when she witnesses a murder, and her life turns upside down. Illusions shattered, she flees, fighting for not only her life, but the lives of her unborn twins. Dean isn’t the only one she has to fear, because the dangerous company he keeps is far more lethal than he realises. Betrayal lurks around every corner as she fights for her freedom, and the safety of her children. While secrets surface, which have the ability to destroy them all.
